Since we started our business in 1974, we have sought to become established as an up-market travel agency providing independent holidays for individual travellers. We work hard to differentiate ourselves from our opposition by the quality of the holidays we offer our customers, usually with three different prices and backed by our extensive experience and expertise.

We regard overseas training as so important that we guarantee each travel consultant a minimum of two overseas inspection visits a year. This is why our significant collection of personal Destination Reports assembled on these educational tours by our Consultants and Directors are so comprehensive and enjoyable, adding considerable value to your holiday.

As we also run a market leading tour operation, we devolved quite some time ago into dynamic packaging whereby, if we felt that we could assemble a customer's holiday cheaper than buying a package, we did so.

We invested in an inbound company in South Africa, Passage through Africa, as well as talpacific holidays, the UK company of New Zealand's largest travel organisation, Gullivers, as we viewed both South Africa and the Pacific as having particular potential for the future.

Our MD, Edwin Doran, who founded the company, was Chairman of AiTO Specialist Agents for 3 and a half years where he was responsible for the very successful development of the tour operator/travel agent relationship which now benefits so many customers who book their holidays with AiTO tour operators.

It is a family firm with Edwin's wife, Rosie, having an ever-increasing list of customers who benefit from her flying years with British Airways, including three on Concorde!! The family tradition is maintained as their daughter Georgia, who has already been around the world a few times, works in the tour operation specialising in South Africa. Their son is at university but helps out during the year.
