Dubai has something for everyone and it depends upon your interests. For the surreal, you could visit the Dubai Snowdome and try some skiing, bag a bargain in the gold souk, also excellent for diamonds if you like shopping or have a drink on the top floor of the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel if it’s relaxation you’re after, you have to pay to enter, but it’s redeemable against a drink. One thing to note is that the traffic can be bad in Dubai, so eight hours disappears very quickly.
